24．8．7（水） 香港ホテル仮住まい初日
現地時間13:00頃、香港到着。
We arrived in Hong Kong around 1:00 pm.
空港で日本円から香港ドルへ両替。必要最低限、3万円分くらい替えた。
I exchanged the minimum necessary amount of 30,000 yen from Japanese yen to Hong Kong dollars at the airport.
空港より街中の両替店の方がレートがよいらしい。
I heard that currency exchange stores in town offer better rates than those at the airport.
さらに空港内でオクトパスカードを購入。香港ではオクトパスカードは必須みたい。
Additionally, Octopus cards were purchased at the airport. Octopus card is necessity in Hong Kong life.
子供がMTR（電車）に乗るのにもオクトパスカードが必要。
Octopus cards are required for children to take the train.
日本からの大量の荷物を抱え、タクシー乗り場へ。拙い英語でなんとか仮住まいのホテルまで移動。
We moved to the cub stand with large amount of luggage from Japan. We took a cab in poor English to the hotel.
荷物が多すぎて、タクシーの人も苦笑いしてました。
The cab driver laughed at the amount of luggage.
（スーツケース大4つ、小1つ、段ボール3つ、ボストンバッグ3つ、紙袋3つ、ベビーカー1台）
住まい（マンション）が決まるまで一ヶ月以上かかりそうなので自炊が必要になりそう。
It will take more than a month to find a place to live. I felt I needed to cook for myself even though I live in a hotel.
ということで、炊飯器、ケトルを購入するべく、イオンスタイル 黄埔へ。
So we went to the supermarket AEON 黄埔 to buy a rice cooker and a kettle.
炊飯器やケトルはホテル暮らし後のお家（マンション）でも使う想定。
5合炊きの炊飯器(象印)が安かった(999HK＄)ので購入。やはり日本製が安心かなとの判断。
We bought a rice cooker (ZOJIRUSHI) that was inexpensive, thinking that a “made in Japan” would be less likely to break.
ケトルはPHILIPSがコスパが良さそうで399HK$で購入。
そのままイオン内のフードコートにて夕食。黄金炒飯とやらを食べたが、結構うす味。
とりあえず、イオンの安心感半端ない。イオンがあれば生きてはいけそうだと感じた。
香港には牛丼屋のすき家がちょこちょこあるみたい。平日の20時くらいで5組くらい外で並んでいる。人気なのかな。
さぁ、これから香港で生きていくため、まずは生活に慣れていければと思う。
